If you're using System 7, drop Take Note into your Apple Menu Items folder, found in your System Folder. Then it will appear under your Apple Menu for easy access. If you use System 6, you might want to keep it on your desktop.
In either case, you might want to use a utility such as QuicKeys or Tempo, to enable you to launch Take Note at the touch of a key.
Some users assign a QuicKeys or Tempo keystroke that copies the selected text to the clipboard, and then opens Take Note.
Minimum system requirements:
Take Note requires System 6 or later, and enough memory to run at least two applications at once.
If you use System 6, Take Note is intended to be run under MultiFinder.
Take Note supplies some special features to System 7 users, but you don't have to have System 7 to use Take Note.
